Inherent in Bezzina's company philosophy is a commitment to give back to the community.
In 1998 Bezzina Cancer Care Lodge was opened, a respite centre for cancer patients and their families visiting Sydney 's St George Hospital. Bezzina led the fundraising and over four years built the $1.5 million village-style Lodge.
The company is also a long-time supporter of youth education initiatives, conducting lectures at local schools and inviting Year 11 and 12 students to gain invaluable hands-on experience.
Michael Bezzina's love of sport is reflected in the many organizations which the company has supported over the years, particularly within his local community. These have included Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Club, North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Association, Cronulla Sharks Water Polo Club, Sutherland Shire Netball Association, Christian Surfers Australia, Global Tribe Youth Services, Aquadot Swim Team and St George Cancer Support Group.
